A tour with an abra on the Dubai creek was a great way to see the city from another perspective.
If the shopping malls weren't enough, there's many souks to visit. Notably the gold souk in Deira and the textile souk on the opposite side of the creek.
Lots of things in Dubai have gotten into the Guinness World Records. The world's tallest tower, tallest hotel, largest single arcylic panel aquarium, heaviest gold ring...

Commercial Dubai is very much driven by the textile industry. Once a sleeping domain, the scene is completely changed now. textile shops in Dubai are a perfect place to bask into the glory of Dubai textile shopping.
