Empire state of mind
My family took off from Geneva early one morning, with one hour delay due to strong headwind and with only 1h30 until the connecting flight in New York it was a hassle to catch it. Arriving, we had to fill in forms, wait in queue to leave fingerprints and take a photo, and then pick up luggage to re-check in and finally pass security. In the queque we stood in, the man working all of a sudden left and didn't return. Fortunately we made it!

Legally Blonde
I've always put some extra minutes into deciding what to wear, composing outfits, some might think it's a waste of time but it's fun for me. After months of hesitation I finally dared going blonde, it was a drastic change! To enforce the transform I got blue colored contacts just for fun instead of my normal ones. I'm still not used to the hair:)

Shed My Skin
Top - Mango
(Fake) Leather pants - Patrizia Pepe
Ankle boots - Navyboot
Puhhh... I finally finished the work I began with interviews at EBACE in May. I was investigating to what extent business aviation is monopolistic competition. I feel so relieved! After passing the theory exam for the drivers license, I had a busy week with evening courses for the obligatory 8 hours of"sensibilisation" talking about dangers in traffic and maintainance of a vechicle. Now the only thing that is left is practicing to drive.
This is a trend I adore, much more fun than the ordinary skinny jean and a long sweater. They work great for both day and night with ankle boots or heels.

Lumberjack
Jacket & Leather pants - Patrizia Pepe
After many travel and party posts - back to fashion. After much hesitation, to buy or not to buy this jacket, I finally decided to go for it as it's so unique and so did other people too... By that time it was of course, sold out.
This weekend it was finally mine, directly imported from the city of fashion Milan. When my boyfriend handed it over in a huge bag, I was excited like a 5 year old on christmas eve to open the package. Patrizia Pepe is one of my favorite brands, this year especially I found gorgeous festive wear.
The inside of the jacket says the following :)

Bicycle Race
Here are some more photos from Copenhagen:) It's been said you haven't been to Copenhagen if you haven't seen Nyhavn, the little mermaid, the royal castle, Stroget and the Tivoli. The best way to get around the city is like the danish, by bike. There are convenient roads made for them in most places, much like in Swedish cities. We rented the hotel's bikes and it was great fun to discover the city like this in one day.

Sensation White
My photos from the Sensation White 31.10.09
@Parken, Copenhagen
Check out the atmosphere!!!
We spent the weekend in Copenhagen at the Wake Up Hotel which had a shuttle service to and from the party. While getting ready we missed the bus and had to take a cab. The police directed us to the wrong entrance, and without coats we had to walk around half the building to get to the Deluxe section. In this section there was food, seats, included wine and beer, and a separate dance floor and DJ. However the real happening was watching the spectacle, and joining the mass dressed in white, down around the DJ stand and feeling your body bounce along with the heavy house and electro. The lights show and lasers were spectacular, I thought the idea of a butterfly was really neat especially when they made the wings flax.
You can find free podcasts live from all the DJs of the Sensation on Itunes. My favorites were Tocadisco and Axwell & Sebastian Ingrosso.

I look all over town for a white top, not creme white. It was a difficult task this time of the year! I had to find one for Sensation White in Copenhagen that was last weekend. Only the shoes and accessories are allowed to be a different colour. The above is what I finally found, but it has a black silk flower in the middle of the halterneck. So at dear old H&M I found a white flower to replace it with! But later the same week, I thought the flower was to much and replaced it with a broche instead.

Get up
Niki Belucci @ The Box, Lausanne
I recently had a week of vacation. I went to Bern to renew my passport at the Swedish Ambassady for my coming trip to the US. I also went to Lausanne for a night to see the famous Hungarian DJ Niki Belucci. I have a couple of friends that mix, I would love to learn how DJ perhaps I'll take a course next summer over my extended break! I've already checked out some possibilities in Stockholm. The rest of the time I studied, studied and studied.

Learning to fly
Matternhorn, Zermatt

It's been long since I flew with my dad and it's evident on my blog there is less and less of the flying photos. Here are some beautiful pics from a low level mountain flying in the Alps, and around the Matternhorn from a couple of years back.

I dressed up the sporty, dressed down sweatpants with a short elegant coat. The the divided jacket screams Chanel! I've mentioned Chanel and their shows before. Garance Dore has a great report on the latest show, they are so spectacular but my all time favorite is the one that took place in a plane hangar.

This sky blue, or baby blue colour is a completely new nuance to my wardrobe. The discussion of becoming blonde has popped up a lot recently after coming home from the hairdresser with only the ends cut like on the photo. Now I've really been considering getting blonder highlights in my hair, something like this, but I don't know if I dare, or if I should wait til springtime... Or "don't change her"?

Leopard and other animalistic patterns are one of the fall's biggest trend. I can be difficult to wear it correctly but I like it in smaller amounts or as accessories. September kicked off with not to though studies. I even managed to go out to Ladies night at Platinum on a Wednesday the first week back as I usually start late and end late. Another fun party was a Scottish friend's birthday pirate get together. Like many other's I bought an eye patch last minute. The rest I found in my wardrobe, this was the best I could do, seeing that I continued someplace after and had to have a outfit working for both of the occasions. Looking back at the evening I regret not having worn large earrings!
But now as studies are getting serious, and the to do lists longer, the partying is less frequent.

Ca m’énerve
Cardigan - Kate Moss for Top Shop.
I recived this video on my Facebook wall. I'm not a particular fan of Kate Moss, but some find her very attractive. I admit she didn't look too bad in her younger days...She's not only famous for modeling but also her own collection for Top Shop.
Today's track: Ca m'enerve - Helmut Fritz
Translation to the lyrics every french speaker knows, " all those who wear Kate Moss' fringe annoys me!"

The autum in Geneva is great, chilly in the morning but summer temperatures during the days. I try to combine summer clothing with fall news. Here is one example from the weekend I went to St. Gallen for less than 24h. Perhaps it's a bit of a horse look, in the evening I wore my white skinny jeans instead of the shorts. On the way home, to spend the rest of the weekend in Geneva, we visited a military camp's open day in Thun.

Stop This Train
Once again I find myself in a long-distance relationship, however you could call this a semi-distance as 4h away is manageable:) 2 weeks ago I quickly packed my bag and hopped on to the train to St.Gallen for a big student party organized by the University. The train trip went quickly and strangly enough I met Swedish people who knew people who lives on my old street in Göteborg! Life cant be simpler these days, the train application SBB Mobile for Iphone allows you to buy a ticket which is stored on it and they check your screen along with your ID. No papers, no queues, what a invention!

Feel the love
I came across this sign twice this summer. First at the Mandelieu-Cannes airport and then at Nice airport. It's so sweet and suitable to mark a place for dropping off your dearest in a hurry. This summer was filled with many "kiss and fly" goodbyes but also "kiss and drive".

Memories
The digital world never takes a break, but I did... This time a bit longer than usual. After one week of hard work back home, I returned to St.Tropez with my special one. Long days at the beach and lots of rose and laughs, it couldnt have been better.
Along with the favorites Club 55 and Nikki beach, La Reserve opened a Hotel, Spa & Villas in Ramatuelle in May which we went to see. The last photo is on the way home going through Sisteron which lies on the route Napoleon.

Hometown glory

St.Tropez harbor by night
The same night after going to VIP Room we continued to see Axwell mixing at Papagayo, I'm a big fan of his and also of the Swedish House Mafia. The club was divided in several level with steps and I missed one of them without being under the influence of alcohol and then fell ahead down on the floor and tried to grab the shoulder of my friend but instead got my fingers caught in her hair... The bouncer of a section of table lead us to join one that seemed desperate for girls but we didn't stay long and hit the dancefloor by ourselves:)

In this famous club the dancefloor spins around the DJs and the champagne bottle drops down from the roof. It was a craaaazy night! On our way home, without keys, one of us climbed over the 2m high enterance in a white mini skirt to open up... It wasn't as white in the daylight.

Good morning St.Tropez!
After staying at our place, the group split up and I continued with the girls to St.Tropez for a few days. We had a very good time together at the beaches. One of the days we spent at Nikki beach, which isn't exactly a beach but it's right next to Plage de Pampelonne. It's a real playground for adults; a place that has seen many celeb faces. The atmosphere is very special and the pool as well as the people are filled with a loooot of alcohol!

Now I'm back from two great weeks and will try to give you some flashbacks of the highlights:)
The day I turned one year older I was surprised with a pink champagne breakfast. Later we went into Cannes city to pick up my gift at the Hotel Majestic, the necklace I had wished for was limited edition and searching for it last minute it happened to be closeby in Cannes! Then we had a nice dinner at Felix which had been recommended to us.

Thunder in my heart
After a night containing little sleep due to a thunderstorm..We had planned to leave town for 2 weeks. The plan was to get the plane to the factory for service and then rent a car to get to our destination. Freaked out by the thunder that was still circulating over Europe, dad flew alone and us girls took the car. Passing through Italy we entered a hailstorm and the cars were gathering under the bridges. Arriving in Cannes later that day, we met up with the rest of the family and spent one night at the Pullman Hotel since the holiday place was only available for us starting from the next afternoon.

Who doesn't love rosé!
While I was gone in Sweden, my family visited Château Romassan, one of the three Ott wineries in Castellet. Personally I've only tasted Ott's rosé wine so far and it is a favorite. According to the rest of the family their white wine is good too. I also missed go-carting and a boat trip to nearby islands.

In the air
My cousin, who is like a sister to me with just two weeks of age difference, was coming back home after a year in Los Angeles. My aunt had organized a little surprise party for her, a limousine and seven girlfriends in it came to pick her up at the airport. The limo took us to her home where we then had a BBQ. I flew to Göteborg for the occasion without her knowing and left my family in France for a couple of days. I flew regularly from Marseille via Amsterdam and the same route back.

I thought I'd be more active in the blogging sphere when I'm on vacation but that has not been the case. A week ago I landed at Castellet Airport, but I only stayed for the day and left my older siblings who had gathered for a week closeby to go to a surprise party in Sweden. The summer has only just begun, and the fun is continuing :)

Party all the time
I used this top twice the same week, I guess that's a fashion fault...
First I wore it to my friend's end of exams party where I went without a voice so I covered up with a warm sweater. After being so into the exam mode, I had planned to take the car theory exam but I had to delay it because I got a terrible cold and was knocked out in bed with fever for a couple of days. The license will have to wait til August.
By the end of the week I was feeling better and I headed to Lausanne again, this time with friends by car for the evening. My DJ friends were mixing at Charlie's Place, a very nice lounge, much like Arthur's in Geneva. Later on we continued to Red club, the equivalent of Geneva's Java and then Loft, it was an amazing night with good company and lots of dancing. When the sun rose at 6 in the morning I was back at home :)

Here in your arms

Lausanne at the lake front. You never know who will walk back into your life like a whirlwind or when. Neither do you know if they will leave again. There are always surprises:) In any case it's the unexpected that makes life exciting!
I went to Lausanne over the day to visit a friend. I usually don't travel by train, but it was very simple and 30 min later I arrived. It's almost faster than taking the car. I spotted a beginner wake boarder in the stormy weather as well as a float plane.
