I'm fascinated to some extent about the power of scents, and I've already written a little about it.
Currently I'm using Acqua di Gioia described as "a clean, incredibly fresh, aquatic scent that is ultra-approchable, yet memorable. Feautres crushed mint, pink pepper, brown sugar and aquatic jasmine to capture the essence of "Joy". "

I've been told to never change my scent. However, according to an article I just read in di.se, it's encourages us to have a wardrobe of scents, 2 for work and 3 for private occasions. Apparently, head positions are associated with spicy smells, whereas if you want to be popular at work - go with Vanilla.

Baselworld Watch and Jewelry show is the world's biggest event in the industry. This is where the latest timepieces and jewelry are unveiled. I went there for one day in order to help out a little jewelery creator's stand. I luckily got some time to see some halls of the fair. The interior is much like a beautiful built up village. It is so big you easily get lost between the floors and rows of company after company, thank god for the Baselworld app. There is everything from Swatch to Patek Phillipe, Swarowski, to de Grisgono. In the jewelry exhibition in hall 2, the higher the floor, the bigger the brand.

It is a fabulous exhibit. There are flowers everywhere, shining display windows and blinding jewels of all kinds.

Even though I no car enthusiast, it's always fun to have a look at the latest news in the car industry. Living in the city of the yearly Motorshow makes it incredibly easy to stop by, while certain others dream of visiting it once in a lifetime.  This year I went twice. Depending on who you visit the show with, you discover completely different things. I had for example never heard of Fisker before.  Voila, here are my quick snapshots from last week.

 I returned to Java this week for a themed Uni party. After having dressed up as Audrey Heburn, stewardness, pirate, spiderwoman, witch, and cat woman, it was time to become a military girl. I definitely prefer finding pieces to puzzle together the outfit, rather than to buy a readymade one.

Java Club closed down 3 weeks for renovation. New deco? New colours? New furniture? Slowly recovering from the flu, I made a pitstop the night of the opening to see the transform.

The club kept its signature purple color scheme. The dancefloor has been removed for VIP tables. DJ is now mixing on the opposite side of the club. There is a new long bar and some huge mosaic skulls.

Countdown

Amazing new year's eve party!! "Rumfire" was the place to be to welcome the new year in Honolulu. There were several djs around different pools and superhero acrobates jumping into them. I tried to dilute the champagne with water in my body, but it was too late. 2012 was a long year as I began it earlier in Dubai, and ended it in Hawaii long after everyone else.

Victoria's Secret is a wonderland for women. One visit wasn't even enough to visit the first floor packed with gorgeous underwear. I could have emptied the whole shop, but my suitcase space was limited.
